Opening Bed

The Opening Bed is our most minimal, simple bed, as pure as it gets. All solid white oak, hand-finished in our house made tenna oil. Hard to go wrong with this simple, space-efficient bed.

• Steel bed slats
• Handcrafted using traditional joinery
• Bed breaks down into headboard, footboard, and side rails using simple hardware for easy moving and to fit through elevators, doorways, stairwells
• Our bed slat system is designed to support innerspring mattresses. Specialty mattresses such as memory foam and pocket coil may require additional support such as a bunkie board.
• We make each piece by hand from solid wood, not veneer or engineered wood. Because every tree is different, you may see variations in color and pattern. Learn more about finish variation here
