Pieces are ranked by three signals in order: products the curator has flagged as selected, then products that sent a visitor through to a brand's checkout from KURA, then the most recently added products, with at most two pieces per brand. In this list: 3 sent visitors to checkout, 9 most recently added.
Five selection criteria

Material fit for use
Tableware is handled, filled, and washed. KURA looks for ceramic, glass, stone, wood, and metal made for contact with food and drink, with care instructions stated on the product page.

Making that shows
Pieces are made in small runs or by hand, in the brand's own studio or by a named workshop. The making should be visible in the object itself, not only in the description.

Origin stated
Each brand lists the city and country it is based in. KURA shows that origin on the brand page and next to every piece in this list.

Independent brands only
Every brand on KURA runs its own Shopify store and sells under its own name. KURA links to that store for checkout and holds no stock.
05
Shipping you can check
Each brand publishes the countries it ships to, synced from its store. KURA shows that list on the brand page; the final cost is confirmed at the brand's checkout.
