- Secure the metal backplate to the junction box, ensuring a solid, level foundation for the fixture.
- Lift the wooden sconce into position over the backplate.
- Locate the horizontal metal mounting rod on the back of the fixture, and guide it into the hook at the top of the backplate.
- Lower the fixture gently until it settles fully into place, resting securely in the hook.
- Check that it's level and sits flush against the wall.
- Install the light bulb.
