The spindles display a streamlined ornamentation that also serves a structural purpose, form truly following function. This dramatic piece reflects and celebrates the tradition and craftsmanship of Rhode Island's 350 year-old legacy of fine furniture and is a synthesis of a machined aesthetic, honest restraint and symmetry typical of 19th century Shaker and Federal styles with a modern perspective. Available stained in maple or ash, or in solid walnut.
